"Helping Youth Prepare for Excellence" through Mind|Body|Sisterhood

On May 10, 2013, our Founder and Board President lost their Mother to heart disease    (C. Joyce Smalley.)

According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women in the United States. Symptoms of heart disease tend to differ between men and women, so it's important to be educated - it could save a life. (www.texashealth.org)

Therefore, this fight is very personal, and we want YOUR story.  We want to add your story in "Our Angel's Heart Storybook" to evoke a massive and energetic awareness of survival - to give the gift of HOPE to those that need it; and to inspire a change in women learning to LOVE their hearts better.

Joyce Smalley's legacy is extraordinary, and her fight will live on through your stories.  If she could do it, so can you.  Even though she is not here, her gladiator energy still resonates on earth, and that is why we need you every year as we encourage, inspire, and motivate others to live with healthier hearts.  We say, "A healthier heart, is a healthier you!"

We would LOVE to share your heart story.  Every year in the month of February, we will celebrate our heart stories of women that are fighting to KICK heart disease BUTT!  Do you want your story published in our "Our Angel's Heart Storybook?" Be an inspiration!

Please email your story to [email protected].  Include a head shot of yourself, first and last name, email address, city and state, and phone number.  All entries will be entered into a drawing during the annual event for a chance to win a spa package. Once we collect enough entries, the stories will be self-published in our storybook.
